What I Offer for families

Behavioural Support Packages

Supporting someone with dementia can be confusing, tiring, and at times really hard to make sense of — especially when behaviours change and nothing seems to work for long.

The options below offer different levels of practical support depending on what would feel most helpful right now.

If you're not sure where to begin, we can always talk it through together.

1. Behaviour Consultation

£195 – 90 minutes (at home or online)

This session focuses on understanding behaviour and finding direction — the first stages of the ReFOCUS approach.

If you’re feeling unsure what’s driving behaviours or how best to respond, this session provides space to explore what’s happening in a structured and supportive way. Together we’ll look at patterns, possible triggers, and the meaning behind behaviours, helping you feel more confident about what to try next.

You’ll leave with clearer understanding, practical ideas you can start trying straight away, and a stronger sense of direction — this session focuses on understanding and direction rather than a written plan.

The best first step is a free 20-minute initial call to talk through your situation and see whether this option feels right for you.

2. Home Behaviour Support Assessment & Plan

£395 – Comprehensive Behaviour Support Package

When behaviours are ongoing or affecting daily life, a deeper look can help create consistency and reduce stress for everyone involved. This option allows us to explore the home environment, daily routines, and how people are interacting day-to-day to understand what may be influencing behaviour and how support can be adjusted.

You’ll receive a tailored Behaviour Support Plan with practical strategies and a shared approach the whole support network can follow day-to-day, helping everyone respond more consistently and with greater confidence.

This package consists of:

· Assessment call: 30 minutes

· Assessment visit: ~60 minutes

· Review call: ~30 minutes

· Final visit: ~45 minutes

· Email support throughout

The first visit is usually scheduled within 1–2 weeks, and the package is typically delivered over 3–4 weeks.

We can explore whether this level of support would be most helpful during a free 20-minute initial call.

3. Crisis Prevention & Early Intervention Package

£550 - Intensive Behaviour Support Package

If things are feeling particularly difficult or close to overwhelming, extra input over a short period can help reduce pressure and restore a sense of control. This package focuses on understanding what’s escalating, identifying immediate ways to reduce distress, and building confidence in how to respond.

The aim is to stabilise the situation, ease emotional strain, and create a clearer way forward so that everyone feels more supported. (Early intervention — not emergency support.)

  This package consists of:

· Visit 1: up to 90 minutes (can be split with breaks to accommodate need)

· Visit 2: 30–45 minutes.

· Two follow-up calls: 30–45 minutes each.

· Email support throughout

The first visit is usually scheduled within 7 days to begin the support promptly, and is typically delivered over 2-4 weeks as agreed.

A free 20-minute initial call can help us decide whether this level of input would be appropriate.

4. Follow-Up Support Sessions

 £95 – 60 minutes

As dementia progresses, situations and needs can change. Follow-up sessions provide a space to review what’s working, adapt strategies, and respond to new challenges without starting from scratch. They also allow us to adjust approaches as circumstances change, helping support remain practical and relevant.

Follow-ups focus on reviewing and adjusting strategies rather than carrying out a full reassessment, and can be arranged once we’ve already worked together.
